Story Submission Terms
Last updated: June 2026
The Museum of Hangovers is built on real visitor stories. When you send us a story — through the website form, by e-mail, or by recording it in the museum’s story booth — these terms apply.
What you allow us to do
By submitting a story, photos, video, or audio, you grant Hangovers Happenings d.o.o. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use your submission:
- inside the Museum of Hangovers (story wall, exhibits, story booth playback),
- in print materials connected to the museum,
- on our website,
- in our marketing and on our social media channels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
You keep ownership of your story and files — you only give us permission to use them as described. We may shorten, translate, or edit your story for clarity, without changing its meaning.
Anonymity
- Most stories on the wall are displayed anonymously — that is our default.
- We ask for your full name only so we know who we are talking to. We publish anonymously unless you explicitly tell us otherwise.
- Video stories recorded in the museum booth can be made anonymous — with your voice and face blurred — just say so when recording.
What you confirm
- You are 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- The story and files are yours to share, and any other people identifiable in them have agreed to be included.
- The submission does not contain unlawful content.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mailing [email protected]. We will remove your story from the website and our future marketing within a reasonable time. Physical exhibits are removed or anonymised at the next exhibit refresh. Content already printed or published before withdrawal may remain in circulation where removal is no longer technically possible.
Personal data
Your contact details are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
